General Test tip:

MOST ANSWERS ARE COMPLETE on a test if:

1. some work is shown (enough for me to know HOW you got your answer)

2. the answer is simplied.

3. Units are given (when appropriate). e.g. kg, minutes, meters.

4. and your answer is

boxed

HOWEVER, if the problem says EXPLAIN. Don't SKIMP!! Don't write a single word.

Write a full sentence. (or maybe two).

Chapter 2 test tips:

The test covers 2.1-2.8. (the only thing from 2.3 are those TWO vocabulary words [do you remember them??])

The test is HEAVY on 2.7 and 2.8 (the only two sections you haven't been quizzed over).

There are NO outliers on the test. (you don't have to know what this word means for the test -- although, while we're on the subject, it's essentially just a data point that doesn't "look like" most of the other data points).

You also need to know that if a function has a CONSTRICTED or PRESCRIBED domain, it'll constrict, or affect the RANGE.

DO NOT COMPARE "r" ACROSS DIFFERENT MODEL TYPES. WE HAVE ONLY EVER DISCUSSED "r" AS THE CORRELATION COEFFICIENT IN THE CONTEXT OF LINEAR REGRESSION -- IT'S AN "r" THAT'S

We looked at one example in class. Call or email if you're unclear about what this means:
